Road network in the District is fundamental to any development aspirations. It become a conduit for entrepreneurship, access to services and general progress and betterment of a community.
Since taking office, the Member for Mul-Baiyer-Lumusa, Hon. Jacob Kop Maki wasted no time to kick-starting the road projects in the District. This include the construction of new roads, maintenance of and maintenance of bridges.
The existing roads and bridges had no maintenance since Independence. Those have been overlooked by successive governments. Under the prudent yet visionary leadership of Hon. Jacob Kop Maki, MP, the DDA has identified vital road networks and and have commenced work already.

There are more development challenges ahead but everything is worth taking smaller steps.
The roads and bridges in Baiyer and Lumusa will also see similar improvements in the months and years ahead.
The MP, his DDA and the contractors urge everyone to work together in ensuring that meaningful services reach our people.
