Gumanch Bridge Construction Underway
The construction of Gumanch Bridge is a project initiative of the Member for Mul-Baiyer-Lumusa, Hon. Jacob Kop Maki, MP in partnership with Mobile Works.
After assuming office, the MP wasted no time in putting together limited resources with the support of private sector partners.
The project commenced at the end of last year, 2022 and is currently underway. It is currently constructed by the Department of Works.
The bridge is vital service that links the road leading to Mul with the ring roads towards Negil in Baiyer and Balk towards Tambul Nebilye. It also leads to Minimb in the Hagen Central District.
The bridge is planned to be opened this year for public use.
This is one of the many vital development initiatives by the MP including the rehabilitation of major road networks in the District.
Hon. Maki thanked the Department of Works for the construction and look forward to continuing the partnership in more infrastructure development in the District.
